My Responsibilities

As the Solo Developer, my responsibilities included-

• Designing, white-boxing and building all levels

• Designing and blueprinting all systems and mechanics for the puzzles

• Populating environments with props and assets to make each level feel distinct and unique

• Playtesting puzzles extensively, collecting and iterating puzzles based on player feedback


Level/Puzzle Design

I designed, built and scripted all 4 levels in the game, these included-

Tutorial Level- Rocky Mountain

Tutorial Level- Rocky Mountain

Level 1- Canyon

Level 2- Forest

Level 3- Lake

My contributions to these levels included-

• Designing, building and maintaining all 4 levels

• Designing and blueprinting all mechanics featured in the puzzles

• Set-dressing the environments with props and assets to give each level its distinct look and feel

• Thoroughly playtesting each level, ensuring puzzles were challenging yet fun


Visual Scripting

I scripted all systems and mechanics of the game using Unreal Engine 5’s Blueprints

My contributions included-

• Designing and Blueprinting all mechanics in the game according to my vision

• Fixing bugs across BP’s, ensuring each functioned as intended

• Optimising blueprints, prioritising the efficiency and performance quality of the game

• Organising nodes, commenting code and naming functions and variables using appropriate naming conventions
